I was told that Migraine with Brain Stem Aura (Basilar Migraine) was a little researched condition and not many were diagnosed with the condition. It appears that it is well-researched but not very well-reported.

We aim to broaden people's understanding and promote knowledge of the condition.

This all stemmed from a Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/bamsupport/ which now has 490 members. We want to share and pass on advice from those diagnosed with the condition and pass on their experiences and help each other.

There is also a world map, which is updated regularly, to illustrate that it is a condition that is worldwide.
