Daily aspirin discovery!

Hi - I've been amazingly migraine free for 6 weeks all of a sudden - didn't know why. Suddenly got the usual confusing dramatic symptoms you will all know about and had a real bad few days with the migraine and real dragged out recovery. I have finally put together a folder of things to do as soon as i get symptoms, things that I think are helpful, and i looked at that at one stage and saw something I had pasted in about how they have found daily (low dose) aspirin reduces the risk of getting migraine episodes. I take these to prevent stroke, but usually every 2-3 days because my stomach doesn't like it every day. I have been getting better at doing it every couple of days the last couple of months though though, because of the discovery that it is protective against migraine, but also covid. Well after this latest worst episode for a while, it dawned on me that I had been forgetting my regular low-dose aspirin (the days are shown on the aluminium sheet you get them out of). I checked and hadn't taken it for five days. So folks I think there is really something in this! I will surely be taking it every two days again from now on. Check with your doctor of course, as per the usual advice, if this interests you..
